Mom to mom: some days are just hard. Find encouragement, inspiration, and solidarity in 40+ special needs mom quotes. Which is your favorite?
There are days where you feel like you just can’t get anything right. You know the ones I’m talking about. You feel like you’re failing your child and failing yourself.
We scream at our kids for things they can’t control. Or lash out because we’re already stressed and one small thing is all it takes to break the camel’s back.
I often feel isolated and embarrassed on days like that. Maybe you do too.
We’re fierce advocates for our children. We handle every single obstacle that gets in our path with an unexplainable intensity.
And yet, we have days where nothing goes right and all we want to do is curl into a ball and stay there forever.
That’s normal. And it’s absolutely ok. The load we carry every day is heavy and we cannot be perfect at every moment of every day.
On the really tough days I look to quotes to help put into words what I’m feeling or to give encouragement and inspiration to stand up, dust off, and keep going.
Finding the right quote seems to make the whole day feel a little lighter.
These are some of my favorite quotes for special needs moms.
